A Forever Family Via Foster Care – by Cecil Stokes
This week, I'm excited to present to you, "A Forever Family Via Foster Care" by Cecil Stokes. When researching articles on adoption this year, I came across the Boone & Me ministry. I had heard Cecil speak at the Blue Ridge Christian Writers Conference several years ago. I was aware of some of his great work, especially as the producer of one of my favorite movies, October Baby. But his Boone & Me ministry was new to me. As I learned more, I longed to ask Cecil if he would guest post. Fortunately for us, he agreed. May you all find encouragement and inspiration in his post.

Books & Movies with Elements of Adoption

However, since that was over fifteen years ago, several of the books are dated and a few are even out of print. So, I’ve created a new list. I’d love to hear your suggestions as well. In addition to the books, there are also several entertaining and touching movies with components relating to adoption. Whatever you’re looking for, here’s a list to get you started.

4 Crucial Points to Remember About Adoption
I’m thrilled to have military wife, mom, and blogger: Jennifer Hamrick, guest blogging about four crucial points to remember about adoption. After birthing four boys, God blessed her family with a little girl. As I've said before, all adoptions are unique. Last week's guest post by Kristi Butler featured international adoption. Jennifer's post focuses on open-adoption and transracial adoption. Whether you’re considering adoption, you’ve already adopted, or you know an adoptive family, Jennifer offers valuable insights for us all.
