YOU’RE JOKING ME – JOKES FOR KIDS BY A KID (Review & Giveaway)

Are you looking for a new joke book for kids? Look no further. William Daniel has nailed it in his debut book, YOU’RE JOKING ME – JOKES FOR KIDS BY A KID. So, what makes this book special?

The Author

Who knows what kids will find funny better than another kid? William Daniel, a middle-school student, is a WWII enthusiast and a competitive gymnast. He builds model airplanes and want to be a pilot someday. He has two older sisters. But, one of them is only four minutes older than him.

William loves to make people laugh, but he has several reasons for writing this book. If you missed it a few weeks ago, check out my interview with William.

The Book, YOU’RE JOKING ME

Published by Revell, this 136-page, paperback book is filled with over four hundred puns, riddles, one-liners, and knock-knock jokes.

The large print and ample white space make it easy on the eyes. And, readers will appreciate that because they’ll have a challenging time putting this book down.

William’s play on words is entertaining and sure to make readers smile or laugh out loud.

But, one thing brings this book to a higher level.

William’s jests do not jab at others. They are not rude or crude—just wholesome and humorous. The jokes are fresh and engaging.

Recommendation & Giveaway

I highly recommend this book! Children ages 5-12 are probably the primary reading audience. But, it’s not only for the kids. This is the kind of book adults will want to have on hand as well. This book will provide you with a cheerful way to engage with the children who are in your midst. What better gift than to make someone smile?

Would you like to win a copy of this book? The publisher has kindly provided a book and three joke magnets to give away. Instead of the usual two-week wait, we’ll make this a quick one so you can get your book and magnets in time for Christmas.

We’ll randomly select a winner from this blog’s email subscriber list on December 10, 2022. I’ll announce it here but I’ll also email the winner. And, as usual, there is no cost to the winner. I’ll pay the shipping fee.

Join the Book Launch Party!

Also, I want to mention that when I interviewed William Daniel a few weeks ago, he issued an invitation to you all to join him for his online book launch party. Sadly, William came home from school very sick the day of the party and had to cancel. The good news is he’s all well and would love for you to join the rescheduled celebration on December 14, 2022 at 7:30 (EST). I hear he’s giving away A LOT of prizes!

If you’d like to virtually attend via Zoom, fill out this form and they’ll send you a link. On the form, you’ll find a request to purchase the book. It’s very reasonable priced. Visit yourejokingmebook.com to learn more about the book and who sells it. I bought my copy through Baker Publishing who offered free shipping. But, as of this writing, I see the book is on sale at *Christian Book Distributors as well.

I’m looking forward to attending the book launch party as well as sharing these jokes with kids!
